About the Release

Release Date : 05 April 2016

New Features 

This release includes the following new features:

1. PMS => Room upgrade display on frontdesk:-

A front desk user can easily view guest’s whose rooms have been upgraded or transferred. We have a different colour code at tapechart for such guests 

To get a quick view of details of guests whose rooms have been transferred. User can simply perform a mouse-hover on name of the guest which will display guest’s previous room and room to which the guest has been upgraded to. Which can be seen in image below

 

2. WBE => Network Online payment gateway:- 

Configuration

Open Worldpay configuration screen from mycloud System Admin => Interfaces Configuration => Payment gateways=> Network Online. 

1. Activate Interface: check this flag to activate Network Online payment gateway.
2. Payment Currency: List of currencies accepted by the Network Online payment service.
3. Merchant Id : The Merchant Code is a unique identifier for a particular merchant account.
4. Encryption Key: To encrypt and decrypt the data posted to payment gateway.
5. Payment gateway URL: This URL will be used by the guest to process the payment.
 6. Save: Click on save button to create the interface for particular property.

Web Boking Engine

Select the room, fill all necessary details and click on Make Payment. If currency selected by guest using WBE is different than that of a Hotel, then system will automatically convert the amount and guest can see what will be the amount in local currency of a property. 

On clicking on Make Payment, user will be re-directed to Network Online’s Payment Gateway as seen below

1. Here he/she will enter the card details to complete the transaction. Now fill all the required details and click on Pay Now button.
 2. After making the payment user will redirect to Web Booking Engine after making the successful transaction and user will receive the confirmation letter on WBE itself along with an E-Mail (if specified) . 

3. On completion of a transaction, a Confirmed- Guaranteed Reservation is created and a confirmation letter is displayed as seen in the image
 4. If a transaction fails then a guest gets re-directed to that same screen but the only difference will be that this time reservation created is confirmed and Non-Guaranteed as transaction could not be completed. 

3. PMS => Express (single click) night audit:-

1. New toggle button to switch between classic and express mode.
Express mode: Night audit initializes by clicking on the start button.
2. The description section tells about the steps of the night audit.
3. Start button initializes the night audit and changes to “resume night audit” when the process is running.

NOTE:
* If a warning message/error occurs, the night audit will resume automatically.
 * Only one message will appear after the completion of night audit describing that the audit date and business date have been changed. 

 

4. PMS => Email Campaign:-

* System is showing all created campaigns (from mycloud or MailChimp portal).
* To create a new campaign please click on "Create new campaign" button given on screen
* Existing Campaigns can be edited/sent later.
 * Sent campaigns cannot be edit/resend.


Following are the steps to configure MailChimp account
 * Create new template.


 

* Verify the mail sending domain 

 

Following are the steps to create a new campaign
Step 1
* Create new recipients list OR select already created list.
 (List can be created from mycloud as well as from MailChimp portal.) 

Step 2
* Select a template for the campaign.
 (Templates can be created from MailChimp portal only.) 

Step 3
* Give campaign name, email subject, sender email-id and sender name.
(Sender email-id and sender name will be by default the hotel's system admin email id and hotel name)
 (Campaigns can be created from mycloud as well as from MailChimp portal) 

Step 4
 * Edit/Send campaigns from campaigns list
