This document describes the Authorize .Net work flow with mycloud.
This document is divided into the following sections : 

1. Authorize .Net configuration
2. Provided payment option in mycloud

1. Authorize .Net configuration 

a. Get the interface configurations from Authorize .Net screen and activate the interface and update its configuration using function mycloud System Administrator => Interfaces Configuration => Payment gateways => Authorize .Net.
i.) API Login id: This is the login id provided by Authorize .net payment gateway.
ii.) Transaction Key: The key provided by payment gateway to communicate with application.

b. Check “Generate request/response log” option to have log for all communicated transaction or vice-versa. 

2. Provided payment option in mycloud: 

There are three screens which have payment option having different functionality for payment on each screen.
A. Individuals
B. Cashiering
 C. Settlement from cashiering 

A. How to make payment on individual screen using authorize.net 

1. There is an option to authorize a credit/debit card on individual screen as given in below image. 

Note: If payment gateway is not activated on mycloud system admin or individual screen is in non-edit mode, option for authorizing credit card will not display. 

2. Click on above highlighted image, a popup will open having last communicated transaction if any transaction exists in our database, otherwise a blank screen will open. 

a. If opened from "Individual" screen, only credit card authorization and void pre-authorized amount can be done. To authorize a card, use above highlighted button “AUTHORIZE THIS AMOUNT” (marked as #1 in above image).
b. Full authorized amount will be voided, no partial amount will be voided. To void an authorized amount, use void button marked as #2 in above image.
c. The card can be only authorized and voided from individual screen so there is not any posting or settlement option from this screen
 d. The amount displaying in above image is total of amount of transactions having transaction status as authorized and authorized & captured. (Marked as #3 in above image).

B. How to make payment on Cashiering screen using authorize .net

1. The same option is provided on cashiering screen. Click on image to charge a card then same screen will open having different functionality as opening from individuals. To open authorization screen follow these steps : 

a. Select payment option as payment or payment refund
b. Select credit card and tab out from charge type textbox.
 c. Now it will show payment token number and credit card icon. To proceed further, click on this image. 

2. Click on “Authorize this amount” button to authorized amount. The payment gateway screen will open having amount as you entered on authorize screen. 

3. Enter credit card details on payment gateway screen and click on payment button to authorize a card .After successful submission, the same transaction will appear on authorize .net screen. 

4. Now you can capture and void an authorized transaction using above button “PROCESS” and “VOID”.

a. Full authorized amount will be processed, no partial amount will be processed.
b. Full authorized/processed amount will be voided/refunded, no partial amount will be voided/refunded.
c. In case of process and refund, there will be an auto posting by system to credit and debit amount in guest folio.
 d. In case of void, there is not any option of posting. The total authorized amount will be voided.

C. How to make payment on settlement screen using authorize .net.

a. To make payment from settlement screen, same steps will be used as followed on cashiering screen because both screen have same user interface and functionality. From settlement you can do all tasks such void, process, authorize and refund a transaction. 

3. Provided reporting for Authorization limits: 

New report “Authorization report” has been added under mycloud PMS => Reports => Cashiering Reports section. There is only one parameter “Date” for this report. This report will give the authorization details for a particular date.

4. Provided credit card number for authorized transactions: 

Credit card number has been provided on authorization details screen. You can see Credit card used for all transactions. It will show only last four digits of credit card number as mentioned in below image. 

5. Currency conversion: 

If the currency of hotel is differ from currency of payment gateway then amount to be authorized will be converted to payment gateway currency. System will prompt a message for confirmation to proceed further. The message will show both amount as original amount and converted amount and converted amount in payment gateway currency will transfer to payment gateway.
