About the Release

New Features

This release includes the following new features: 

1. PMS => Extend Today's Departure on Night Audit:-

Night audit process has been modified to show the list of stay-over guests and the option to extend their departure while executing Step 6 (Change business date). The system does not allow users to change the business date if there are stay-over guests who have not been checked-out. From this version system will pop-up the stay-over guests list and the user can extend the selected guests

a. System will prompt the following message to a user on Step 6 (Change business date) if stay-over guests exist.

 b. By clicking on “Yes” system will show the stay-over guest list as in the next screen. 

c. A list of all stay-over guests is displayed where the night auditor changes the date of departure or extend the stay of stay-over guests then continues with Night audit process.

d. There are three ways to change the date of departure:-.

• Option 1: Changing date through the calendar.
o Click on Departure Date of the selected guest.
o Change the date through the calendar.
o Then Click On SAVE

• Option 2: Changing date of multiple guests at once by selecting guests (shown in next image)
o Select the checkbox for guests whose departure date is to be changed.
o Enter the number of days by which departure date will be increased at let’s say by 2 days.
o Click on OK.

After click on Save/Ok, the system will proceed for the business date process automatically. 

Night audit process has been modified to popup a warning message on re-executing the night audit. So that the night audit cannot be re-executed by mistake. Following modifications have been done on night audit process:

• The system will close the night audit screen and redirect the users to the home screen after the successful audit date change
• If users will try to re-execute the night audit within 30 seconds after last night audit, the system will prompt the following warning message to the user. 

• This message shows the details about when last night audit was executed with the date and time of the ending process. The purpose of this message is to make the user aware of the last process details so that he doesn’t unintentionally re-run the night audit process.
• By clicking on “Yes” user proceeds for the next step of the night audit. 

2. POS => Modify POS outlet's and menu's description :-

a. Item setup has been modified to allow users to modify the name of already created outlets. Steps to modify the outlet name 

• Click on "EDIT" displayed a right side of the outlets list.
 • Popup with selected outlet’s name will be opened.

• Edit outlet name and click on "SAVE" 

b. Item setup has been modified to give an option for the first character of checks related to the newly created outlet. This is available only while creating the new outlet. Also, user can decide what should be the first character of the check for his new outlet through this screen itself 

 c. Item setup has been modified to allow users to modify the name of already created menus. Steps to modify the menu name

• Click on "EDIT" displayed a right side of the menus list.
 • Popup with selected menu’s name will be opened 

 • Edit menu name and click on "SAVE"
