This document describes the new features, modifications and corrections effected in mycloud Release sprint 1.0.0.8.1.

About the Release

New Features

This release includes the following new features: 

1. Manage user Session while closing and refresh of browser:-

 Users are recommended to log-out and end their sessions so that locks on guest reservations and checks could be released accordingly. Now by directly closing the browser, all locks created by the user (if any) will release and the user will be logged-out automatically after a warning message (as seen in the next Figure). 

Steps:- • Close the browser without logging-out from the application.
• User will get a warning message (as displayed in the image above).
• Click on

On these actions, the browser will close and login system will release all previous sessions and locks (opened guest/ checks). 

2. WBE => WBE booking alert:- 

Web booking will send an E-mail to the system administrator and guest correspondent, which are configured through SMTP configuration (at property setup under mycloud system admin).
 Whenever the guest creates a reservation through Web Booking Engine, guest correspondent and the system administrator will receive two E-mails. One before payment (non-guaranteed) and other after successful payment (guaranteed)

3. PMS => Blockwise Room Revenue Report: -

 A new report called Block Wise Room Revenue is created under MIS Revenue report. As the name suggests, block-wise revenue report will give the user the room revenue as per blocks divided by him as seen in the next figure. Along with Occupancy Rate, the sum of agreed rate and published rate. 

In the above figure, we can see that the property has 2 different blocks and room revenue is divided for each room.
Steps to get to generate revenue report is as follows:-
• Go to Report screen and click on Block wise revenue report (next figure).
 • Select the parameters as per the need and click on Execute.

• On clicking on Execute, a compressed file in RAR will be downloaded automatically.
• RAR file can be opened through WinRar (see figure 3.3), extract all the files and open the folder where files are extracted.
• Open Blockwise_MIS_Room_Revenue.xls file and click on Generate Report as an excel sheet opens.
 • This will display the Block Wise Revenue Report with the required parameters.
