This document describes the new features, modifications, and corrections effected in mycloud release sprint 1.0.1.0.3.

About the Release

Modifications / Enhancements

This release includes following new modifications / enhancements:

1. PMS => Individual => Option to keep the vehicle number of guest :- 

* New Field “Vehicle number” is added in Personal Information under Vehicle Details. (Individual Screen)
* The value entered can be seen in Registration Card printed for guest.

* If Vehicle number is not visible on guest registration card, please contact support to get it added.

2. PMS => Individual => Option to swap rooms between two guests:-

The system provides single-click operation to swap the room numbers of two guests.

In PMS: Individual screen and front desk screen: Room transfer screen has been modified to have a new checkbox "Show blocked rooms also for swap" (SEE BELOW IMAGE) 

* If above check box not checked then system will continue as of now (don't show today's blocked rooms and if any room is selected that is blocked for future dates system gives error message that this room can not be selected as it is blocked)
* If above check box is checked then system will show blocked rooms only for swap.
* Above check box will be visible only for room transfer case (In-house guests only)

** Note : Swap will be possible only in the case where new room is blocked for a single guest (another guest) for the entire stay of the guest for which room transfer is happening. If multiple guests exist for the new room then swap will not be allowed.
** Note : Swap will be possible only in the case where existing room is blocked for a single guest (current guest) for the entire stay of the guest for which new room number is blocked. If multiple guests exist for the new room then swap will not be allowed. 

3. PMS => Night Audit => Restrict Night Audit Execution for future dates :-

The system will give alert messages if the user tries to execute night audit for future dates. There are users that execute night audit in or before mid night for those systems will allow executing night audit 12 hours before midnight also. 

4. PMS => Introduce derived rate concept: Derive rate from other rate based on the percentage or fixed amount:-

The new feature for making a rate dependent on another rate has been added in the system. Now rate can be defined as a "Derived rate" from another rate. In this case, the rate details maintenance will be on the base rate and all linked rates (derived rates) will automatically be changed if base is changed. 

* Rate can be derived from a single rate only
* Rate can be derived as a discount or add-on on the base rate
* Rate can be derived based on the percentage or a fixed amount 

* BAR rate can not be derived from another rate
* Derived rate can not be used as a base rate for another rate
* Any base rate can not be derived from another rate
* A rate can not be derived from itself
* Rates of derived rate can not be modified from "Define season rates" or "Define exceptions" or "Define BAR rate"
* Only view mode will be available on "Define season rates" or "Define exceptions" or "Define BAR rate" of derived rate.
 * For derived rates "Define season rate" button will be changed to "View rates", "Define exceptions" will be changed to "View exceptions", and "Define BAR rates" will be changed to "View rates" . 

5. mycloud Interfaces => Payment Gateways =>3G Pay (WBE) :-

New Payment gateway 3G Direct pay has been added to mycloud payment gateway integration list. Interface can be activated from System Admin => Interfaces configuration => Payment gateways => 3G Direct Pay 

* This gateway is applicable for Web booking engine's payments. 

6. mycloud System Admin = > Property Setup => Increase hotel name's length to 70 characters :-

System has been modified to increase hotel's name to accept 70 characters. 

7. mycloud Offline POS configurations :-

mycloud supports Offline POS (Touche), in which POS related all operations, reporting will be done on Touche.

Departments, revenue heads, revenue charges, taxes and settlements will be created in mycloud system admin rest of the configurations, operations and POS related day end process will be done in offline POS (Touche)

POS can be marked offline from mycloud PMS => System configuration => Parameter setup => Advance control setup => Step 3

If POS is marked offline, no user will be able to open mycloud POS module, it will not be part of the product list 

If POS is marked offline, night audit's step 8 (POS day end process) will not be executed at the time of night audit, this step will be skipped by the system as POS day end process will be executed from offline POS (Touche).

If POS is marked offline and offline POS (Touche) did not complete day end process for the day, then mycloud night audit will be hold at step 8 (POS day end process) till offline POS (Touche) day end process is not complete

8. mycloud WBE => Modify WBE screens to reduce the white spaces :-

Web booking engine hotel availability screen has been modified to show all rates under one room type instead of showing separate row for each rate for same room type* Screen will show the available rooms count, if available room count is less than 3 rooms for a particular room type.

* Screen will show the sold out rooms also without booking button.

9. mycloud => Shift based login to get shift wise cashiering reports :- 

Shift based login has been introduced for cashiers to get the cashiering reports based on shift number.
* User will be logged-in to Shift number 1
* User can change the shift number after login, by clicking on "Shift number" given on the header after the business date display. 

Following reports are available with shift number as a parameter

* Cashiering Reports => Night audit reports => Transaction transferred on audit date
* Cashiering Reports => Night audit reports => Void transactions
* Cashiering Reports => Settlement reports => Cash summary
* Cashiering Reports => Settlement reports => Settlement report
* Cashiering Reports => Transaction register => Transaction register
* Cashiering Reports => Transaction register => Deposit Received
* Cashiering Reports => Transaction register => Deposit Applied
* Cashiering Reports => Transaction register => Deposit Refunded-Retained
 * Cashiering Reports => Transaction register => Transaction Register with VAT breakup 

Corrections / Bug Fixes 

This release includes the following corrections/bug fixes: 

1. Show "Printed on" time on all reports based on hotel’s time zone :-

* All reports, having "Printed on" at the bottom of the report, have been modified to show the time based on the "Time Zone" defined for the property.
